1982 Front Spring Isolator
I'm in the process of restoring a 1982 and when I disassembled the front end I found no evidence of isolator on either end of the front springs. I have an original parts catalog and it doesn't show anything in there either. Common sense would dictate there should be something in there. I have the spring located correctly in the lower control arm so that as it is turning in channel it will lock. Any one have any suggestions?

Not sure why you think there should be one there, I have both a 69 Corvette and a 71 GTO and neither one uses a insulator from the factory on the front spring. It is common to find insulators on top of the rear springs on GM "A" bodies, GTO, Chevelle, etc.
