just a follow up on the fram durability issue.after 4 months and around 800 miles i removed and cut open the fram extra guard filter and saw no degradation of the cardboard or decomposing of the glue holding it together.the uneven end was caused by my chisel.my intrigue's filter was also in tact.i do not now, nor have i ever worked for fram and post this for general information purpose only.
