Default Timing lights

My old school timing light finally died and I need to get a new one and I have narrowed it down to 2 an OTC 3365 and 3367. I don't know much about the new timing lights with the advance which would be a good one to purchase

Thank you for your help.

Timing light is one of those tools that lasts you forever, go with the 3367, you won't regret it.

I'm old skool too and prefer the dial advance. But if you're checking distributor curves, a tachometer built in is really nice. If my dial light dies, I'll definitely get one with a tach.

Hi 69,
I like the 3367 too.
Check your local Sears and auto stores.
I guess they don't sell very many anymore.... I got one at 1/2 price.
I think I saved $50.
Regards,
Alan

I have a Snap-On dial back and my trusty old Craftsman Penske model. I kinda like the oldster better. I use degreed dampers and timing tapes. But that's just me...

timing light thanks for all the replies guys i will be getting a Innova or OTC. but you have pointed me in the right direction, in reply to blue 1972, my 81 vette has no computer, was removed before i purchased it, the wrong carb was installed, the blower was removed bare and frayed wires dried wires broken wires ect have all been replaced, the engine is solid as per my mechanic. it was abused and never taken care of, it runs very good at present, but i doubt if it has ever been timed, I have put $7,000 into it in the last 2 years Iam 82 and this old girl keeps me hopping, its a labor of love. iam prepping it for getting it painted I hope next week, once again thank
