Can Not Engage Reverse
1979 L82 with Hurst shifter.
Shifting into reverse has always required a hard pull to the left and then up....at least since I have had the vehicle.
Now, I can not bring the shifter far enough? left or.....something is just not right with the linkage?
Will welcome any thoughts.
I am pulling the rear this weekend (I hope) and while the car is up on a "borrowed" lift I want to figure this shifter/reverse thing out.
As I always like to be overprepared, has anybody had this sort of problem?... and if so what parts will be or may be needed to try and get this all done in a weekend and not tie his lift up come monday morning.
