OK, I have been searching the forums for something that matches my issue with my windows. I have found none...

A couple of day ago, I rolled up my windows on my 80 C3 when I got to work and when I got back in they both would not roll down. First, I thought...Oh, I just blew a fuse. I now know that the system works with a circuit breaker. I pulled it, the circuit breaker reads out good, the 12VDC input was good. I then checked for resistance between the other side of the Breaker and the pink wire going into the switch right by the switch. It was open. From here I jumpered from the hot side of the circuit breaker to the pink wire right before the drivers window switch and the windows worked. I only did this for a second since I didn't have any protection in the circuit.

My question...what could I have messed up without doing really anything other than getting in and out of my Car? Is there a connector on the wiring harness that isn't in the schematics? Very confusing...

Any assistance would be great. I just bought this car on Saturday and haven't had much experience with Vettes yet.

After 30 years that breaker finally quit, it had a good life.
If it was new then it was made in China and after 3 days its junk.
