Suggestion: Find a tpi setup. 91-92 camaro firebird. Get one with ecm and harness. Way more bang for the buck. Fits nice even with the v belt setup. Just need to change your fuel pump to one from a tpi car.
Done the carb swaps before. Efi waayyy better.
A carb? Sorry couldn't help it. To just drive it you will need a carb(!) intake, distributor and a fuel pressure regulator. To go fast you will need heads n a cam to. There was a thread just a couple days ago here that you might want to dig up.
I did a carb conversion on my 84 crossfire, much better performance even with the stock cam and heads. I did a post on this site, not sure if the gremlins deleted it or not but if you have questions you can email me at docwilcar@yahoo.com if you need help as the C-3 and C-4 conversion would be almost the same. I used a 600 cfm Edel. carb(500 cfm good to 5000), ZZ4 intake, accel hei dist., mallory 4309 fuel pressure reg. I later added a set of Summit/Dart SS cast iron large valve heads and an Isky Z-20 solid lifter 228-228, .450 lift, 108 LSA cam. I am still using the stock stainless steel headers(you probably have the same) and a true dual exhaust system with no cats. The car is pretty quick compared to the stock crossfire!! Good luck!

good to hear from you! I like the cam choice, How did you like the results of the head cam swap? How much vacume does it pull?
Thanx
Dave
Hey Dave, the Summit heads made a big seat of the pants feeling for sure, no dyno or strip numbers but for $630 they are a bargain. I replaced my 274H06 218-218 106 lsa cam with the Isky z-20 which has been around since day one, 228-228 .450 lift, 108 LSA. It idles better than the 274 cam and is a mild cam like the 097 Duntov. I am pulling around 16" of vac at 900 and 14.5 at 700 where it idles fairly smooth, hardly a lope. It seems to have better low and mid range than the 274 cam and I love the solid lifter sound . I ran the 097 cam in my 327 in my 57 Chevy back in the day and I have always been a big Isky fan. The Z-20 was designed to have similar specs as the 097 but with more lift. I had Isky grind the Z-20 on a 108 LSA as the current version is on a 112 LSA. Really nice cam if you are into old school cams that are easy on your valve train and work with stock spring(my summit heads have the .525 Z-28 style springs). I have the same spec cam in my 1965 455 GT0 with dual fours, 4 speed and 3.31 gears.
