Noise at WOT
When i am at wide open throttle before the tanny shifts gears (around 5k) there is this loud ticking noise... When it shifts gears it goes away then comes back when i get higher up on the rpms again. Is this a bad thing? I have no idea what it could be, any help?

Without being able to crawl n the engine or trans or read end, very hard to tell. Suspect it might be lifters clacking that fall off when the RPM's fall off and then clack again when the RPM's rise again. Just a thought.

Motor internals. Good bet is wrist pins in piston wore out or rod starting to go. Especially since it happens when you rev the bag outta it.Hope I am wrong. :reddevil
