Default reverse lights--advise needed

Looking for imput on trouble shooting back up lights for '70 4sp. bulbs are new but no light in reverse. thanks

Switch is on transmission connected to reverse lever by link rod. Probably just needs adjusting.

Hi mc,
As HF said it might be a good idea to check the switch mounted on the side of the transmission, and it's link rod to the reverse lever. There are 2 TINY clips that keep the rod in place... one might be gone which would let the rod dangle.
