I think the tubes on my vintage racer are aluminum. I would look at Speedway Motors before I paid the VB&P "Corvette tax", just remember to deduct the thickness of the nuts after you measure your tubes...

IIRC Guldstrand used to market them, as well as alum camber struts, with a disclaimer against use on the street. Suspect that's becuase racers are expected to inspect stuff much more frequently.
My Steeroids R&P kit came with aluminium tierod sleeves, they havnt fallen of the car yet after 2 years driving.
I do check my chassie after each track event and they still looks OK.
