Hello, I have a 73 that blows head light bulbs at hign rpm. When you speed up they get bright and blow. I was thinking alternator, would appreciate any input. Earl
Just had a Jag in here doing the samething. At idle it was putting out 15.25 volts. I didn't bother to see what was being put out at rpm. The Jag has an enternal regulator that went bad.
Today I replaced the alternator, head lights are still blowing while driving at a higher rpm, when in park they will not blow, I haven't had time to do a lot of research. Thanks for any input.
