I just looked in my Vette and I do have the hotter ones. They have been in all year since my new heads.

Thanks!! I will get a set tomorrow and try them out. You still swear by solid lifters? I look at the badass website, wow, some amazing engines. Do you notice a difference between the 427 and 434?

I use Crane ultra Pro solid roller lifters and run relatively mild 190# closed and 560 # open. the aftermarket blocks have revised oiling and they are still running fine at 20K miles. Being reused after the motor refreshes.

Cheap solid rollers don't last.

As to 7 more ci. It is good for less than 10 more foot pounds of TQ.

I just replaced with APP3924's which should be an improvement, could not find the 26's in-stock anywhere. Runs better but still has a new found stumble off idle as I accelerate. It is definitely a "miss" fire. Momentarily sounds and feels like a cylinder has dropped out. Maybe wires, maybe distributor. The plugs are brand new and I doubt they could have fouled that quickly but who knows. Going to check the rotor and cap and hook up my wide band analyzer. New wires next.
