Removing paint from urethane bumpers
What is the best way to remove several layers of paint from urethane front and rear bumpers? There are several areas where all of the paint has been removed where the bumpers have flexed or been bumped into something. I have tried sanding, but there must be an easier way. :cry

we had to sand blast mine with very very fine sand what it was was used sand but the guy who did it was very good at what he did oh tes low pressure

A company called Bulldog---look for it at an automotive paint supply store. It comes in a spray bomb, and is specially formulated to remove paint from plastic,urethane and rubber bumpers! ALWAYS try on the rear of the bumper cover to make sure that the stripper dosen't soften or melt the bumper!!! Thad :yesnod:

I also had mine sandblasted. As long as the blaster knows what he is doing and stays away from the detail areas edges (like the tail light cut-outs edges) they come out great.
