Setting up the bearings is the tough part. Takes some special tools and a shop manual. Manual is easy. Getting the bearings right is the tough part. There are some guys on the forum that do them. And do them right.
Past that, unless you have the time and desire to tear into them, it's almost easier to hit one of the vendors and get a set that are already done.

unless you are talking about just the trailing arms without the wheel hubs/bearing?
then it is just a bolt and a bushing.. usually the bolt is frozen and you need a sawzall....
buying refurbs, then you have shipping and core charges that the vendors try to find excuses to not give all the core charge back to you.
