Converting from 2bbl to 4bbl?

I could be way off base here, but forty years ago I had a 304 gremlin that had a two barrel carb. and three speed manual on the floor and the car would do about 16.5 in the quarter. I installed headers and a Holley 650cfm two barrel and the car pulled a 15.01. Just after that I bought my 73 Corvette L82 with the close ratio four speed. I would have hated to come up against my old Gremlin at the lights because it would have taken me out of the hole. But getting back too the two barrel, it might be cheaper just to find one of these Holley two barrel monsters. Of course it wouldn't look as cool as a four barrel but it might get the job done for you. And you'd still have that Ultra Rare Corvette with a two barrel motor.
