I put in a new hydroboost system in and have power bled my brakes 3 times. The brakes work good but if you push the pedal hard the brake light comes on which would mean that the fluid must be moving the switch on the proportioning valve. Anyone have any ideas should I try gravity bleeding?

I believe that the Brake Light will come on when the Fluid in the Master Cylinder is low. Could be that just adding more will fix it. Maybe leave the cover off and over fill it, if it still comes on its probably somewhere else.

There is no level sensor in a C3 master cylinder resevoir. It does sound like you still have air in the system. Is the pedal firm?
The only problem I had bleeding my brakes was that I seemed to have a small bubble of air in each caliper that was purged only after I tapped each caliper with a hammer to get the bubble to the top. Also make sure to bleed them in the correct sequence.
Good Luck!

No, It still is sponge I think I will try gravity bleeding, also I put 6 piston Wilwoods on the front. I'm going to check where the bleeder comes out on the caliper maybe I need to raise the front end of the car more than the back to make sure the bleeder is the at the high point of the caliper.
From: Who says "Nothing is impossible" ? I've been doing nothing for years.
Hydroboost brakes act funny until everything gets settled in properly. Make sure your power steering fluid is up and not foaming. If you can stop the car when going real slow then what I did was drive it around the block a few times real slow and stepping on the brake pedal every so often and eventually they start to work properly and will be hard a rock
