Default A/T Transmission lines

My car is a 71 350 with th400 I was about to order new Transmission cooler lines and I see that there are two offered. One for a "long" fuel pump and one for a "Short" fuel pump. This is the first the I heard of two different fuel pumps for a A/T. My fuel pump does have the return line does that make it a long pump?

Thanks

Default What?

That's an odd question, what does the fuel pump have to do with the transmission lines?

Here's the BB with the long pump

SB would be back farther I guess. Not sure what a short pump looks like as far as the lines go

My fuel pump looks like yours I guess that is the long canister. I am thinking that the short canister does not have the return line. The part that puzzles me is that the fuel pumps without the return line are LT-1 and they are all manual trans. I must be missing something.
