Need a new PS control valve
Where is the best place to get a new power steering control valve? I need a new one for the 71. I checked out Corvette central, they get $159 for a new one, is that a good price? Thanks for the info.

Try Advance for lifetime guarantee unless you want original. I'm just happy to own a vette. Originality isn't an issue with me.

Sounds about right, might be able to get one cheaper through NAPA/ Autozone etc...
Have you considered rebuilding your self. Considerable cheap besides, i get a lot more satisfaction rebuilding something myself than buying new.

I would spend the $25 or so and give rebuilding the old one a shot. It's not hard, and it may fix your ploblem....

Muskegon Brake has the valve for $65, plus a $75 core charge, or you can get the valve, slave and four hose kit for $160.

You can't beat a new PS control valve. You would be surprised how tight your steering is with a new one. I bought my from The Last Detail,
http://www.tld-corvette.com, cost $145.00 outright.

I got a rebuilt one from Auto Zone, it was around $50 and is guaranteed for life. Mine has been on the car for almost 2 years now with no problems.
