gauge mounting has anyone done it????
has anyone mounted other gauges other then factory options in their c3? i want to mount a trans temp and engine oil temp gauge either where my radio is or in the window pillar if i can but it has to look clean
any ideas?i checked to see if any company makes an aftermarket pillar
package for my 76 but got no reply yet if any one has done this pictures
would be great if possible thanks

many have ...look in the archives for autometer and such titles in the C3 section of the archives......lots of sweet setups..

i just mounted an oil temp. and water temp. under the edge of my L-88 hood..it is a long style hood so the wiper door was removed and i put a plastic cover where the door was...the gauges are mounted there and are visible to the driver from inside....
if you look just to the right of the steering wheel you can vaguely see two white gauges...

Saw pic's of one forum member's car where they mounted gauges in the disco ball vents. Cool idea but bad for air circulation. :)

I laid up my own fiberglass hood to clear my bigblock with victor junior intake and nitrous. I used the back part of the hood to hide a number of gages and 3 warning lights. Something like this might work with certain hoods.
