some things that may help younger folks, put your compressor outside your garage or at least on the other side of a wall, doesnt drown out the ZZTOP that way, and even though they're a good thing, as previously stated by others, I pretty much only use it for tire changes, I always start the first three threads by hand, save on that 'why didnt I do that' when you strip a bolt.

Don't buy HF Impact sockets. My neighbor bought a set of Ingersoll Rand deep impact sockets and one of them exploded on him. I think he still has it, if so I will post a picture of it.

I bought several sets of them back in the late 70s.
They went thru daily abuse for years, not one ever failed, still have them.
This was back before China was open, they were then called Harbor Freight Salvage, sent businesses mail flyers and they only had one mail order warehouse in LA, no stores.

Back then their stuff was made in Taiwan, but everyone bitched about Taiwanese stuff just like they do the China stuff today.

My rules is to always go to Harbor Feight, and then buy a more expensive tool if I break the cheepo. I've bought a lot from them, an the only thing I've replaced is the generic dremel and a rivet gun. My $10 angle grinder has seen LOTS of use (abuse?) and is still going strong.

buy the cheap HF, buy the warranty, when it breaks , take it back, no questions asked, they even take back paint guns.
