sealer for differential
I'm taking apart a differential tomorrow on an isuzu box truck for work, when I took apart the good working one from a donor truck, I noticed what looked like a very, very thin white sealant that was used where the metal meets the metal. anyone know what that is, I'm heading out soon to get the gear oil for it, calls for 85w 140, would like to get this sealer too. there was no gasket, metal to metal after taking off about 12- 14mm bolts.
