1982 steering wheel removal
Before I get started on removing the steering wheel on my 1982 vette (standard 82, not CE), I'd like to ask if anyone has done this. Will I need a steering wheel puller or is the wheel just retained with some screws? Thanks in advance for your inputs!

if you are just pulling the wheel itself, it is retained by 6 screws. most likely you have a T&T wheel, you need to undo the horn cap, remove the star screw for the Telescopic feature, (don't misplace the 2 tiny screws that secure the star screw
) remove the horn tab and spacers, and then the 6 screws that secure the steering wheel.
Just pay attention to how you undo these items, replace or repair your wheel and reinstall, simple to do.......
