Tonight after dinner I decided to take my car and get some gas before putting her to bed for the evening. (did some cruising this afternoon and was getting a little low). I live on an island and gas is cheaper on the mainland. There is a causeway bridge to go over and I was going over it and kept hearing a low grumbleing behind me. The car behind me was a new Pontiac Grand Prix so I didn't think it was coming from it. On the other side of the bridge the road opens up from one lane to 3 and a 89 or so Mustang GT (the year with the louvered rear tail lights) is the car that I heard. I was going stright and I saw him put his blinker on to turn left...oh well maybe next time. The next thing I know is he is right beside me at the light....Its Go Time. I took off normally and then I heard him hit it at about 5 MPH..its on. It was no contest and I pulled away from him like he was a RICER!!!!!! I shut down because the road goes back to one lane and I was coming up on a Minivan fast. Pulled into the gas station and so did the Mustang. He got and and asked if I had a big block or something all I could do is smile and say nope, 350. He shook my hand and said nice car.....we talked for a while and then parted. All in all a decent Ford guy. On the way back, at the same light going to the bridge I came up behind ANOTHER RUSTANG!!!!! It sounded OK but was older than the first one. He took off at the green and I was right on his A~~. When we cleared the intersection I passed him and even hit my 6000 RPM rev limiter in 2nd but still kept pulling on him   . Had to shut down again at the bridge (SUV this time) and it took him a while to catch up. He stayed on my A~~ like he wanted more but we were on the island and there is only 1 road with alot of traffic (beach traffic). He turned off before I got home.
Man I love my ZZ4 :yesnod: :yesnod: :D :D

Showoff. I don't know why you brag about your motor all the time. I could hang with you, no problem. Cause I got a 350. It's got high tech Crossfire Injection so you should be very scared when you see me comin' your way. You wouldn't last one minu...uhh...... oh, you said "ZZ4". I thought you had said Z34. MY BAD!
Ok Ok, I'm jealous --- I admit it! Nice Stang KILLS, keep up the good work ! :D
Give me a year and I'll spank your ZZ4 with my 350 (well, it'll be a 355 and have a blower). Just need the Corvette and the shop, but I'm working on both :)

Did all the work myself, and if you get a blower then I get some kind of power adder, Hot Cam, 1.6:1 roller rockers, etc etc etc. Deal?

you wouldn't even need a ZZ4 to "kill" 5.0 Mustangs...
However - my "best" kill ever was a supercharged 5.0. I did this kill with my 69' (sold) (383/450HP). The Mustang must have had at least the same kind of HP... He had the very high hood and you could hear his supercharger whining...
