Default LS5 Fuel Pump ?

1970 454
Anybody know the difference between the AC Delco A3667 fuel pump that the Corvette vendors carry and the ($30) AC Delco 40770 (6470309) pump?

The 40770 looks identical to the 3667 and the 40770 has the correct placement & number of connections.

Is it just a NCRS thing?

The AC Delco site comes up with 40770 as the correct pump for a 1970 454 Corvette

Yes... that is where I got the number and then ordered it from Rockauto. But what is the difference between that pump and the one sold by the "Corvette" vendor crowd? Is the 40770 going to turn back into a pumpkin after the dance? There is a big difference in price so I am curious.
