No start? A testlight from the TACH terminal (Tach disconnected) to ground and crank the engine. If the light flashes, the module and pickup coil are good.
GM had a module tester that heated the module and did a diagnostic thing- but it was a go-no go thing IIRC. Maybe parts stores have got them too.

here is what happend I was drivng and all the sudden car quite just like it shut it off pulled over checked some wiring all was good waited about 20min or tried to start and it started drove home no issues ckecked further for wireing issue did too ground found nothing so far car starts

That sounds like a failing module to me. Gets hot, dies, cools down, off you go.

That's why the GM tester heated the module. I'd also check the wires from the pickup coil- you're in there, it's easy to do, and might prevent a walk and a tow truck later.
