Default vin no. location
I just bought a1981 vette and need to know the location of the vin no. I thought it was on dash at base of winshield. maybe mine is covered with a dash pad.

It's also typed on the vehicle certification label on the driver's door along with month and year of manufacture. Bowling Green cars also have a partial VIN on the trim tag.
