Default Spicer solid u-joints - DEAL!

Thought I would pass it along... found this guy on ebay selling the Spicer 5-799X u joints. They are the heavy duty non-greasable joints for the half shafts. They are listed buy it now for $23.50/ea. w/ free shipping. He also has the "Make an Offer" feature. I sent an offer last night for $19/ea for a set of four = $76 w/ free shipping. ..woke up this morning and he accepted!

I was originally going to offer $20/ea. but figured I'd try @ $19 and just counter if he didn't accept. Now I wish i would have started at $15 lol (really don't think that would be accepted).

Anyway thought that was a pretty excellent price compared to what I was finding online.

Nice find... but when I went to make an offer it said shipping not included. How did you determine that shipping was going to be free before you pulled the trigger?

If you look under where you would click "Make Offer", there is the details which states FREE standard shipping. I don't recall the exact screens when you go through the offer process, but I would skip anything having to do with shipping, because the add states it is FREE.

Thanks. I made an offer of 17 each and sent a note that said I would also hit the BIN for a pair of 5-785x's that he also has listed for $18 each. Lets see if he goes for it.

My offer expired- no response from the seller on these. I'm thinking because of the weekend maybe(?) It looks like a few other folks had offers in and may have expired as well, but somebody's offer to buy four was accepted. Was that anybody here and what was the price accepted if so?

I'll probably try again tonight...

Give it another shot. I submitted mine after hours on a week day and had a response by the following afternoon.
