I have a 1980 L48 and to about time for new tires so I was thinking of some c5 zo6 or just c6 wheels but I'm not sure what I would have to do to make them fit(thinking about 8.5 or 9 in wheels) I don't want to shatter my fenders or rub or any bad things to happens to my baby lol
If anyone can give me some advise that would be awesome and much appreciated

Your going to need Wheel adapters to fit the newer wheels. VB&P is just one of the suppliers who can provide them. There tech line can probably steer you in the right direction. I'm sure other people will chime in here. You might also try the search at the top of the page.
I have 17" x 9.5" with 275/40 ZR17 tires and 2.5" wheel adapters all around. I have offset trailing arms, so parking brake cable bracket may need to be relocated on stock trailing arms.
It seemed like it was more work than it was worth. I stayed with the 15inch wheel. That may have to change down the road due to the limited options on tires...
