C4 side mirrors on C3?

C4 side mirrors on C3?
Before I get the "try searching" response, I tried it but it'll omit "C4" because its too short and only ends up searching "mirror".
Has anyone tried and/or done it?
How difficult was it to get the heat & electrics to work?
Results?
I'm mostly wondering about the angled surfaces with/without the wind deflector between the outer door skin/mounting area and the window glass. If the angles are close, I can work with it.
I'm short, so any mirrors I get, I'll still be looking around the wheel arch rather than over it, and I think I like the C4 mirrors better than the C3 sport mirrors.
I have a custom 77....which I am still customizing.

There is a thread or two on C5-6 mirrors. I'll try to find it and link for you. I just ordered a pair of C5 mirrors for my 81

Thanks for the link, but I'm not interested in C5/6 mirrors...its been done and in my personal taste/opinion, I just don't like the way they look.
The whole body flows well together, sure those mirrors are round, but they stick out of the body, they don't flow out of the body.
