Engine comp grounds

Can anyone tell me how many grounds are in the engine compartment? I just put my engine back in and a couple electrical issue. Mainly tach and alt, they appear to be hooked up correctly. I noticed 1 ground under the fuel pump I missed (anyone know what it is to) and want to double check there aren't any others I might have missed.

Cruise-In II Veteran

Block grounds to the frame. Starter harness might ground to the tranny. Do you have the assembly instruction manual (AIM)? The AIM shows the factory grounds.

Bad deal on AIM manual! I bought it on CD and my computer has now died! Going to have to order a new one now.

Another vote for buying the hard copy paper AIMs (my personal favorites).

What model year? If I have the AIM, I'll check tonight.

Didn't the late 70's/80's cars have a ground up at the {plastic} distributor shield and over to the air cleaner? (I don't have one; just seem to remember something up in that area.)
