Sorry, told ya I was a newbie. Recently purchased a 1978, small block.When the previous owner installed a crate motor, the compressor, brackets, and hoses were left off. Everything else is there. The only way I know to see if it's good, is to hook the system up, and try it. So, I'm looking for a compressor, brackets, and hoses from the compressor. I looked at several sites, including Ecklers, but am confused as which one to buy. I appreciate any direction. Thanks, Mike

I think that year of car had the shorter compressor. Good to know as the hose lengths would be different along with brackets. I think ZIP has some good pictures to help out. So would an AIM manual.
Keep in mind the pulley issues if you don't have the one to drive the compressor.
