Default Got a question??? on inj size?

OK I THOUGHT I knew all I needed to know on the crossfire engine, BUT I don't! My engine is done waiting on the weather to break to install it in my car[lost my house AND garage due to illness]I devolped M.S. anyway life IS still going on! THANK GOD for good friends!!! The race shop has taken an interest in this crossfire engine [never had one in there shop] I was down there today and the where dynoing and tuning an org. 426 hemi with a cross-ram 2 four barrel set-up, [they try different things] a very good shop any way they PUT a 2 X 4 [YES A PIECE OF WOOD!] inside the intake to see if the decreased plenum volume would effect the power ratings.....quess what? a 2 hp difference! PERIOD! Anyway they put a 3/4 inch spacer under each carb. re-jetted the carbs and made another pull [removed the 2x4] it gained 8 hp over the pull [before the 2x4]. OK now back to the vette they/me got ta think n? How about spacers under my tbi's? Well heres the question with more air ya need more fuel and increasing the fuel pressure MIGHT not do it? I know the #'s on my inj,s called 2 dealers no answers?? got on line AND got 3 yes THREE!! DIFFERENT answers on lbs/hr on the stock 82 inj's??????? well I can't re-jet the inj's OF COURSE and from my experence w/my Turbo 3.8 you can only go UP so far in fuel pressure beyond a certain point you gotta go UP in inj size. What the hell ? is THE CORRECT answer to my question? I got answers that range from 52lbs/hr TO 68lbs/hr??????????and yes I know there staggered higher on the drivers side /lower on the pass. side.[I THINK?] Anyway can any of you guys give me the right answer? I would REALLY appreciate a CORRECT answer. I'm a pefectionist to a FLAW! Thanks!
