'79 Inner Fender Bonding??
I'm working on my '79 resto and having to rebond the front inner fender wells to the underside of the body. My questions are 1) why aren't the top front and rear portions of the fender wells bonded to the body (instead of using rubber to seal the surface) and 2) is it a good idea to add some fiberglass matting to the bonding areas to help prevent future bond cracking and separation?
