The feed for the Hi beam indicator is at the dimmer switch, you might start there and see if the wires are connected correctly.
On the dimmer switch there are 4 wires, green-green-tan and blue.
One "Green" feeds the high beam bulbs.
The other "Green" goes to the Hi beam indicator in the dash.
The "Tan" feeds the low beams.
The "Blue" feeds the rheostat in the head light switch.
