trailing arms/wheel bearings
Hello all. Have a 81 that I want to rebuild rear suspension. So, does the whole T/A need rebuilt or can I just have the bearing assemblies rebuilt/replaced? Also who has best price on this service? Thanks.

The trailing arm front bushing would be the deciding factor for me on this. If the front bushings are in great shape then I’d have the arms done on the car! But then you’d also have to find a shop that is capable of doing this. On the flip side of the coin, I can’t see rebuilding the bearings and not removing the arm to replace the front bushings.
Removal of the arms can be a challenge as well so you’ll have to be prepared for the worst.. Stuck front bolts.
