700r4 speedometer driver gear seal??
I've had a tranny leak in my 82 and found where it's coming from. It's the seal in the speedometer driver gear, where the plastic gear pokes through. Anyway I bought a new seal and not for sure which direction it goes in?? The seal is tiny and has a tiny spring around one end. Does that go in or face out? Also how in the heck can you seat the seal, I've tried oil, soap, ect. and still can't get it in.
