I've installed several of Holley's systems and have been very impressed with them. I wrote about a couple of them in Auto Enthusiast Magazine.
On one of them I did a back to back test on the dyno with an 871HP motor and the Holley EFI matched a very well tuned Dominator in about 10 minutes. It had taken years to get that carb to where it was as far as combining power and driveability. It also picked up about 4 mpg.
The other was to test the limits of the TBI on a 550 HP smallblock. It also did great.
You can allow it to self tune or you can play with anything you want. If you happen to get it all out of whack you can be back to your base tune or any tune you saved with a couple of keystrokes. You can't hurt it!

Very interesting picture have always thought that ignition system your using would be a good way to do it getting rid of the dist. How do you like it ?

It works great. You can do anything you want with it also. I'm currently moving the coils inside the car to hide them and make more room for *turbo stuff*.
I like *naked* engine compartments!
Here's another Holley EFI setup I put together to play with. It's a Weiand tunnel ram with 2 x 4150 TB's on it. Then we put together an Edelbock Victor Ram with 2 x 4500 TB's on top! Both were tested on a 572" pump gas big block street motor!
I have a FAST system and it is great. I think most of the systems are equivalent with each other. I would recommend going with a multiport system over the TBIs with metered fuel.
I have the FAST (EZ efi) system as well... I really like it, and because it was the older system - it cost about 800 less than the competitors. No, I don't have a fancy Ipad (would be nice to have)... but this work perfect for what I'm doing with it.
I have a 350 with a bottom-of-the-page thumpr cam. With a carb, you couldn't idle down the freeway - with the EFI, I can (at 1800 rpm)
which leads me to advice.... buy the system that meets your needs, buying a system for some future plans - doesn't work because by the time you get there, it'll be obsolete so the extra money you spent will be wasted.

JIM
I bought a book on ignition systems a few yrs back was reading about that setup you have and thinking why would anyone fool with the pitfalls of a dist. when you can have this, all modern cars got rid of dist. a long time ago. Sure enough i look on corvette forum JIM has one.
