82 Transmission Filter
This is how exciting my life has gotten this winter....
Anybody know what the difference is between the ACDelco TF235 and P/N 8657926 Transmission filters? If anybody has done a filter/fluid change recently I'd be interested in knowing what they used and how happy they were with their choice (ie, no gasket leaks). I'm finishing up some long overdue maintenance before cruising weather arrives. Thanks!

Looks like the TF235 is the filter only and the 8657926 is the filter and gasket.
I have never seen a big enough differance in trans filters to prefer one over another.
Now the gaskets I don't use cork. I use rubber or rubber mix. Very small amount of silicone on the gasket and then snug up.
