i am calling tomorrow to see how much the suzuki emblems cost on the side of a grand vitara to get the Zs and the 4 from the c240 benz they are about the same size the Zs will have to be cut out of suzuki but the 4 is free standing i will post one if i can or e-mail the picture of one when i finish

i did see that post but i thought that the z34 was too large to put in the same place as my L82? i did not check to see how big they are. the ones i looked at look to be about 1" tall

How about a Mylar sheet in the inkjet printer. That way you can design whatever you want via computer. After printing, cut out as close to the lettering as possible, If there are any white parts (ink jets don't do white) then paint those parts on the back. If your clear coat is thicker than the mylar then it will cover the mylar.
I have done this while redoing an old electric guitar of mine and had good results. It might take some experimenting to get it right but the possibilities are endless.

Check'em out they are about 1 inch tall. They're actually a real nice piece. They can be painted any color you could want with no problems.
I have looked at several alpha / numric's and these are the same on many vehicles GM & Chrysler. I think they are supplied by a vender that combines the right pieces to say whatever is needed. If this is true we can mix and match......JIM :yesnod:
