Default Huffing a Big Block

We have seen a few threads on here asking questions about blowing a C3 with something other than a GMC type blower and its problems re. actually being able to see through the windscreen past the set-up out there on the road. I had considered a Procharger or Vortech myself a few years ago but gave up on the idea trying to find sufficient space under the hood and over the drivers side A arm plus the resulting issues with intercooling/charge cooling and pipework etc.
It seem that things in the race world have moved on and some of these centrifugal huffers are now running off the nose of the crank. Got me thinking that with the set back angle of the Vette radiator IS there enough room to consider mounting a blower in this position on a Vette. OK the crossmember would need major surgery, and accessory belts and water pump/fan/alternator/power steering etc etc would need a re-think - any thoughts guys?

you could try a turbo set up with the turbos in the rear of the car where the mufflers are.

Take a look at the twin screw whipple's. The 3.3l efi model would be an excellent choice.

That car does belong to a member.

To find more information on a picture posted by someone other than the owner, right click on it and get it's address under "properties". Paste that link in Google Images and it'll show you every place on the web that picture appears. Great tool for finding out more info on a particular car.

I stuffed the turbos in the fenders behind the tires, works really good.

i understand it is not the best set up but turbos back where the mufflers are would be neat , but plumbing it would have to be a pain.
