auto or manual trans
I have a mint 72 vette, I took the oridginal motor out and put in a 427 sbc with forged eagle rotator, 11:1 comp 220 dart alum heads. and dual quad intake, its a beastfrom 60 to160 with pedal left. It has a 3:08 posi rear. Off the line performance lacks. I want the best of both worlds. does anyone know if they make a 6 speed trans that would fit in a c-3 without cuting up floor. or should I just switch to a 3:90 gear and suffer on the high end. Undecided need imput thanks.
