Default 1973 seat belt problem

I am installing Fiero seats in my 73 Corvette, the new seats sit much higher than the original seats which causes the seat belts to be too short. Has anyone had this problem? If so how did you solve it?

depending on how the belt is attached to the floor you could buy a seat belt extender and hide it under the carpet.

When GM went to the new seats in '79, they extended the length of the latch belt (console side). Previous owner of my '73 put '79 seats in it and the original latch belts were too short. I order a set for a '79 and got the extra length I needed. Hope this helps.

Go talk to these people

They can make any custom length you need from your buckles.
