Have any of you purchased or installed a GForce Crossmember? If so, do you have any photos you could share with your exhaust in place? I'm thinking of purchasing one, but curious as to what the exhaust set-up would look like installed with one of their crossmembers. Anyone using one of them with with headers and/or an X Pipe installed also?
Using a G-Force cross-member on my 76 with a Richmond 6 spd trans.Using stock exhaust for now.Had to modify pipes to clear the cross-member slightly. No big deal I intend to replace pipes in the future with headers or larger Ram Horn manifolds.[IMG][/IMG]

Hey guys, thanks for the photos. I had some email conversation back and forth from one of the people at GForce. With running a Tremec 5-spd, they advised that the p/n RCC3-700 would be the one to purchase. They say that the TKO-600 is very similar in length to a GM 700R4 or 4L60E transmission. Since my frame has been modified from a welded-in crossmember to a removable one, that now looks identical to an auto trans crossmember, I ordered what they suggested. I will post an update when I receive it and get it installed. Hope it works!

Did you have any issues with the shifter or rods hitting the crossmember?
I'm thinking of getting one of these this summer so I can get a better exhaust and tuck it up closer to the floor. right now where my left pipe crosses over to the right side of the car, it hangs down under the trans mount and scrapes over every bump.

No issues with shift rods on the Richmond 6 spd.Exhaust pipes are close but with a little tweaking it's good to go.I did have to trim the mount base and drill new holes for the trans mount, very easy to do.
Just Installed! The p/n RCC3-700 is a perfect fit for those running a TKO-600. Probably won't hook up the rest of the exhaust until the body is back on...
