Default Headlights won't go down!

At first the headlights came up slow, right one first. Now they wouldn't come up at all. It was night time so I pryed them up and that worked. Now they won't go back down. I would rather have them stuck up then down. Without going through the entire vacume system, any quick fixes? Thanks in advance for any help.

First and easiest, make sure no hoses came loose or rotted from fitting off of intake or between check valve and filter. After that bad news , you'll have to start tracing the vacuum to see where signal or supply has failed. Good Luck

You probably know this, there is a vacuum switch under the dash below the steering column that keeps the lights in the up position for servicing. Maybe that got bumped, a line got disconnected or it's busted. Also, the check valve located on the drivers side by the distributor could be bad or disconnected.
