I'm currently setting alignment after a body off rebuild.
What are the ideal specs for our cars. For instance regarding camber, I see that the workshop manual suggest positive camber. I have VBP upper A-arms and am leaning to 0° to -.25° negative.
What is the best setup to get any performance and not too much tire wear ?

VBP's recommended specs for the type of driving you intend are as good of a baseline from which to start as any
That said, for any type of high-performance driving, the "ideal" static alignment settings (among other elements fundamental to sorting a chassis) for your car in particular, your driving style and a given set of conditions can only be achieved thru deliberate testing. To best accomplish that you'll need 1) somewhere to safely drive at the limits, 2) a stopwatch or data logger, 3) a tyre pyrometer and 4) a sufficiently sensitive backside along with the ability to accurately diagnose what the car is doing right and wrong.
