Default Drag Radials for a 1978

Guys;

Any recommendations (brand and size) on a set of drag radials for my 1978? The body is bone stock and I am not looking to modify the rear wheel openings...

Thanks!

Joel

I've just about finished off my second set of BFG drag radials 275/60/15 on stock 8in aluminum wheels. I had to move the ebrake cable bracket for clearance. Consistent 1.70 60ft times when running 12.40 -12.50 ETs, so it's leaving pretting hard.

I had to screw the rims to the tires....they were hooking that hard. Had M/T slicks on it and not a whole lot of diff. in the 60ft. maybe a 10th.

These little 255/60 MT ET Street radials will do work...

I go 1.51 60's on them...

275/60s also work great and are more common/cheaper.. IF you have enough gear/torque to pull a 28"..

to pull those, I was going to try either the Nitto's or the M/T's Drag Rad's as soon as I wear the BFG out won't be long. Waiting on the weather here in sunny cold a## Ohio. 3.42's, built 2004R @ 26lbs of boost.

Micky T's ET streets, I've been hearing good thing about those new M/T's instead of the Nittos.
