This is the spring side that sits higher. See the spring end is just shy of the end of the spring pocket. This side also I noticed the spring is very close to the frame.
Here is the lower end....180 from the end of the spring pocket.
This is the low side. The spring is 180 out from the end of the pocket at top, but the bottom is dead on. (hard to see in this pic)
Im going to rotate the low spring 180 and seat the the top end on both sides and see where I end up.
I think that little inspection hole in the first picture is where you're supposed to aim the coil. Get the end of the coil about halfway in there, and let the bottom fall whereever it does.

OK...re-seated both springs correctly in the upper pocket. No change in ride height.
26" to fender driver side, 27" on passenger side. At least I know they are installed correctly.
Alignment tomorrow.
In retrospect, I think the 550lb springs would have been fine without being cut.
If it wears on me, Ill do the springs again. cheap.
I really like the look of the factory aluminum wheels, but I wouldnt pass up the right set of 17"/18"s....
Just havent found the "right" wheel for this car yet.......
