1981 Power Window Problems
I have a 81 that I have now replaced two drivers window motors in the last 3 months. The second one I replaced the regulator when I replaced the motor. It has new rubber and is not binding anywhere. I decided it was the motors made in China. Chevrolet doesn't make that motor anymore and I can't find one anywhere. Am I missing something? Why are these motors burning out so fast? Where can i buy a motor made in the USA? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

so the motors bench tested bad?
I am hard pressed to understand what could kill them.
a fused circuit.
low volts to the door?
I would not be surprised if they were bad when you got them.
a good rebuild shop can tell you what failed.
I would start with volts to the plug and test the motors.
