Default Fuel and temp gauges now work ....

First I want to say thanks for all the help that I had received .
The fuel gauge no longer reads 3/4 tank ALL THE TIME ,and the temp
doesn't read 0 . The fuel gauge was bad . I didn't do the work on it
but had a local mechanic look at it . This guy didn't yell replace the
sender, he said it may be a bad ground .

One thing for sure your never to old to learn something or to listen ,
I don't care what my wife said about me . Only kidding I think . . .

I 'm looking for a good spot to run a ground wire for a replacement
radio . I was told I could run ground back of the temp gauge . true or
false ???

Thanks again for all help that was giving .

wombvette is correct. but if you need an additional ground use a self tapping screw into the lower windshield frame(i assume that you have the dash removed to replace the radio).
