Just a Tip
I just had the joy of replacing a Caliper and the fun of getting the brake pads in. After a bit of cussing and frustration with keeping the pistons retracted I gave up and got a "Corvette disc brake piston retaining tool from Ecklers $14.99"
Wham bam pads in.
I have seen many tricks on how to keep the pistons back but none of them worked and this tool did right out of the Chute.
