I like mine and I have the factory Gymkhana. Looking at converting to monoleaf when I change out my rear suspension during the upcoming rebuild.

On my '69 with the fiberglass spring, I have QA-1 adjustables. They give you the option of very soft to very stiff depending on your preference. You didn't mention the #weight of your spring, but I've good reviews of Bilstein shocks from forum members.

I've got the 315 composite leafy. They work very well together on the back roads and don't bust my kidneys.

79c3man,

Both the QA-1 and the Bilstein shocks perform very well with the composite springs. Adjustable shocks are great, with the ability of altering your comfort levels in both the QA-1 and Bilstein shocks you can achieve really any comfort without breaking the bank. We offer both of these products, and would be more than happy to help make that uncomfortable ride go away.
Thanks,

Jeff

Try a set of KYB GR2 shocks from VB&P. to quote the manufacturer:

This special shock was designed by VBP and manufactured by KYB exclusively for use with the VBP Composite Rear Monospring equipped C3 Corvette. Not for use with steel or OEM rear spring. Extensive testing with advanced computer controlled shock dynamometers as well as real world street and racing tests went into the development of our unique, proprietary VBP218 shock. The special valving and nitrogen gas charge have been made specifically to control the ultra-fast reaction of a VBP composite monospring.

These really work.
